SBI Credit Card Customer Care Other Enquiries

If your SBI Card Theft

  • If your SBI card has been lost or is stolen, immediately call 1800-180-1290 (toll-free). Otherwise, you can use your local STD code and dial 3902-0202.
  • After this number will direct you to an IVR. Be careful that you dial ‘2’ to report your card as lost or stolen.
  • If you want to block your card online, visit www.sbicard.com, and select ‘Block Lost/Stolen Card’. Alternatively, you can SMS BLOCK “the last 4 digits of the card” from your registered phone number and send it to 5676791.

If Your SBI Card Being Blocked

  • If due to suspicious activity if your card has been blocked, you can unblock it by just calling to the SBI credit card customer care center.
  • Suppose your card account has been permanently closed but you want to re-activate, you can request about this concern to the SBI credit card customer care center. However, this has to be done within 3 months of your card being blocked. To reactivate your card after 3 months, you have to apply for a new card.

Over Utilisation of Your SBI Card

If the SBI credit card limit on your card has been over, your card may be blocked. To unblock it, follow the below steps:

  • You can do an immediate payment and bring down the amount owed on your card below the credit limit.
  • If this is an error, you can easily call the SBI credit card customer care helpline.

Steps To Submit SBI Customer Care Complaint Online

All important steps are mentioned below:

  1. You need to go to the SBI Customer complaint form page.
  2. Fill out all necessary details like customer type, account number, branch code, mobile number, email, nature of the complaint, etc.
  3. After this click on the submit button. A Complaint token number will be provided to you which can be used to track the complaint status.
  4. You can check the status of your complaint by following the below steps.
  • Please visit the SBI Complaint Status page.
  • Enter the complaint ticket number and mobile number.
  • Finally click on submit to know the current status of your complaint.

If you have already registered for the missed call banking facility i.e. SBI Quick, then you will get all banking related information just by giving a missed call.

What should I do if I lose my corporate credit card when overseas?

If you lose your corporate credit card while overseas, you can call the 24/7 Visa toll-free number.

How can I call for any transactions related to my IRCTC SBI Credit Card?

If you hold the IRCTC SBI Credit Card, you can call 1800 180 1295 to resolve your queries. If you want a city-wise number then use prefix your STD code and dial 39 02 12 12.

How can I permanently close my SBI credit card account?

You can write your complaint to SBI or call the SBI customer care helpline number and place a request for closure of your card account. And the closing of the card is possible only if all dues on the card have been paid in full.

Is any charge if I request for a card to be re-issue?

Yes definately, you will be charged Rs.100 + applicable taxes if you request for a re-issue or a replacement of your card.

How long will it take to dispatch a re-issued card?

It will take around 7 working days for you to receive your replacement card.

What can I do if my card is not authenticated or accepted at a point of sale terminal?

You can call the customer care helpline number if your card is not authenticated at a point of sale terminal. Carefully check the expiry date of your card and see whether you have entered the PIN correctly.
